We report: on the beach, we come across squall after squall. We see them coming from afar, the blur of rain on the slate grey ocean. The rain is only half the genuine thing, and the other half is sea spray; facing the wind as we walk, we keep accidentally inhaling it.

I made one report for each hour of the day: small squares drawn with wax pastels, interrupted sentences, one short minute at a time. In the end, the sky is the sky, so a temporary change in format like this can still make sense, which is nice to realise.

We report around noon, as it is beginning to get hot: contrails and overhead lines are splitting the sky into shards. We stare at the resulting pattern for too long, and it stays printed over our eyes when we board the train. It is still overlaid there while we look for a seat.
