The 3 week Swedish adventure has come to an end. In total 20 sites have been sampled for GHG emissions including radiocarbon analysis. Sites ranged from Uppsala all the way down to Kalmar, Southern Sweden @livunigeog.bsky.social

I'm Dr Kaja Fenn @drloessismore.bsky.social a Lecturer in Environmental Change. I love working with arid and aeolian sediments. Loess is my fav so I'm often found hanging off cliffs. But I've also worked on archaeological sites, caves, table mountains, and more. Plus I'm into sediment provenance!

Day 2 of our @livunigeog.bsky.social field class to the Lake District. Today our students meausured lichens at multiple locations to look at how aspect, position, and human activity (e.g. air pollution) affect lichen growth.
