Nenthead Big Dig took place from 1-11 Aug with community members having a fantastic experience digging in gardens & land around the village. Various objects were found including iron nails, Victorian blue & white pottery, a coin (possibly Victorian) & medieval pottery. #northpennines #Archaeology
