Happy #EarthDay 🌍 with some of my favourite shots so far. From the ocean to the mountains, from big to small. Beautiful British Columbia indeed! #nature #photgraphy #film
View from Saint Mark‘s Summit onto Horseshoe Bay. October 2025
Green conifer branches frame a view over a green mountain side in the lower left corner leading into the blue ocean. On the horizon the mountains of Vancouver Island are visible in the mist. Red and yellow leaved shrubs and a red leaf covered forest floor fill the bottom edge of the picture. View from Boundary Bay Park towards Mount Baker. April 2026
A lowtide tidal zone fills the front of the frame. It is a mix of dark, wet sand, pools and streams of water, and a raised sand bank with bright brown sand and some grassy vegetation. At the horizon runs a mountain range with the tips covered in snow. One peak in the right side of the frame stands tall above the rest. The sky is blue-white with high clouds. Lynn Canyon, February 2026
A treestump in front of a dense conifer forest. The wood of the stump is red. It is covered in light green mosses and lichens. A small flowering plant in Boundary Bay Park, April 2026.
Shallow focus picture of a small flowering plant on a sandy soil. The plant has many small, white flowers grouped together into a ball and thin leaves.
