It’s been a week since my cat Minnie passed unexpectedly and I still haven’t found the words to honor her. Do I need to? Probably not. But as a domesticated cat, she has been personified with human traits and standards, and part of ceremonial burial is eulogy. So I will continue to meditate on it.

Minnie, a female Calico cat, lays atop a heating vent in the floor, preventing the proper distribution of hot air throughout the house. Or maybe blowing hot air directly onto a cat is proper distribution.

something that bothers me (and no one else): while I like GOG, I think it is very misleading to call what it does “Games Preservation”. What it is doing is making games commercially available and able to run on modern hardware. While that’s good, it’s not what I would consider “preservation”.
