Look, I got a 4 series (could be a whole team, but 4 I know) baseball romance in my head. Someone pay me so this can exist in the world and be a baseball romance that captures the love of the game. Although, wow I forgot how much of a shit the first guy starts out as (weak enemies to lovers).

"The color is repellent, almost revolting; a smouldering unclean yellow, strangely faded by the slow-turning sunlight." I made a "Yellow Wallpaper" piece back in 2017, but I re-read the story over the weekend and wanted to try again. Much happier with this version 🖤
illustration inspired by Charlotte Perkins-Gilman's 1891 short story "The Yellow Wallpaper" depicting a woman touching sickly yellow torn wallpaper on a wall while shadowy hands reach toward her. There is another tall shadow of a figure on the wall and both figures look toward the viewer.

If any book agent is looking for a baseball romance, I'm trying to write one (4 actually. The series is planned). I want to go trad route if possible. I also know this isn't how any of this works but I haven't found a baseball romance for me so I'm writing them.

Been here 30 seconds & while sometimes I want to post into the void, I'm gonna stay in Discord where it is not nearly as "loud" as here. That or I need to just get rid of a bunch of accounts because I did not just spend the last almost year rebuilding my mental health to let this place ruin it.

I still don't know that I believe Epstein was really the grand elite convener that he wanted and imagined himself to be. But he certainly bought access to that circle using underage girls as his currency, and as a consequence these files give us a shocking window into that world

Just as a point of order or something, I know I'm a little elevated at the moment, and I'm doing my best! I'm sure everyone is. Do please take care of yourself. People are reminding you don't have to keep consuming and internalizing awful shit you cannot fix right now, and they're right.

Tired
I am so tired of waiting,
Aren't you,
For the world to become good And beautiful and kind?
Let us take a knife
And cut the world in two - And see what worms are eating
At the rind.

Pretty par for the course, when you remember Zuckerberg’s history of stealing photographs of his female classmates to rate them on his hot-or-not website in college. Women as aesthetic, compliant, manipulable objects has always been the dream.

I have decided that I am going to try to get back into photography with my DSLR. I've had two days of fantastic photo opps and a few really awesome photos. No I will not share here. I don't want the machine to take them. I think I'll set up a digital photo frame at work with my best pics.

Romano is gone guys, there is no coming back. It was weird that they sent down Lazar, but I guess with the last man out of the pen, they wanted to give it one more shot. It's over. And really, it should be over for him, you can't send him out for his sake at this point.

CEO pay is up 1,085% since 1978, while typical worker pay is up just 24%. Why do we always hear "we can't afford to pay our workers more" but never "we can't afford to pay our CEO more"?

'Vacations.' The word is 'vacations.'

FAST COMPANY Article:

While retirement typically occurs, after
completing a career and saving and investing for it, a new trend is emerging among Gen Z career professionals
called "micro-retirement." Micro-
retirements involve taking a one to two- week break from work every 12 to 18 months.
Gen Z is using micro-retirement to avoid burnout, find greater fulfillment in their work, and enhance their overall well-being. However, it's not just Gen-Z:

a note on doctor james c dobson:
wikipedia entry for james dobson: dobson encouraged "daddy-daughter dating" in which fathers and daughters set aside time for special activities together. because he believed heterosexuality must be cultivated, dobson intended these romanticized attachments to model proper heterosexual partnership to girls age six or younger.

I didn't exactly get to watch the 2008 bubble pop cause I lived in a bubble at the time so this is gonna be interesting when AI pops. (Bad. It is going to be SO bad.) Living in your own made bubble is quite nice as I learned yesterday.

People keep comparing the AI Bubble to the Dot Com Bubble. I was there for the Dot Com Bubble, this is going to make that look like nothing. Nobody in the 90s was building nuclear reactors to power GoDaddy. Clinton never said "I know the economy is bad but it's fine, I made a deal with Pets dot Com"
