When utilized in literature review, LLMs consistently 1. fail to mention female authors in female-led literatures, 2. insist that men are more influential or more heavily cited when this is contradicted by objective citation counts, and 3. attribute women’s work to hallucinated male scholars.

🚨NEW: Erez Reuveni, the DOJ lawyer fired for his honesty in the Kilmar Abrego Garcia case, sends Congress a whistleblower letter detailing lawlessness at the DOJ around the CECOT deportations. He says Emil Bove told the DOJ to respond to likely court orders blocking flights with "fuck you."
Bove then made a remark concerning the possibility that a court order would enjoin those removals before they could be effectuated. Bove stated that DOJ would need to consider telling the courts "fuck you” and ignore any such court order. Mr. Reuveni perceived that others in the room looked stunned, and he observed awkward, nervous glances among people in the room. Silence overtook the room. Mr. Reuveni and others were quickly ushered out of the room. Notwithstanding Bove's directive, Mr. Reuveni left the meeting understanding that DOJ would tell DHS to follow all court orders.21 - Mr. Reuveni was stunned by Bove's statement because, to Mr. Reuveni's knowledge, no one in DOJ leadership - in any Administration – had ever suggested the Department ofJustice could blatantly ignore court orders, especially with a "fuck you.” Mr. Reuveni was in disbelief, because, on the contrary, the Department of Justice consistently advises its clients of their obligation to follow court orders, not to ignore them. Mr. Reuveni knew that it was absurd and unlawful to do otherwise, a proposition that Mr. Reuveni felt even more certain of after a brief conversation with his supervisor, August Flentje, shortly after the meeting.

Justice Sotomayor, on the import of what the Supreme Court did today: "The [Trump administration] thus openly flouted two court orders. ... [E]ach time this Court rewards noncompliance with discretionary relief, it further erodes respect for the courts and for the rule of law."
The Government thus openly flouted two court orders, including the one from which it now seeks relief. Even if the orders in question had been mistaken, the Government had a duty to obey them until they were “ ‘reversed by orderly and proper proceedings.’ ” Maness, 419 U. S., at 459 (quoting United States v. Mine Workers, 330 U. S. 258, 293(1947)). That principle is a bedrock of the rule of law. The Government’s misconduct threatens it to its core. So too does this Court’s decision to grant the Government equitable relief. This is not the first time the Court closes its eyes to noncompliance, nor, I fear, will it be the last. See Trump v. J. G. G., 604 U. S. ___ (2025) (per curiam). Yet each time this Court rewards noncompliance with discretionary relief, it further erodes respect for courts and for the rule of law.

It's hard to credit MAGA with ignorance. If they were ignorant they'd sometimes accidentally choose less evil over more evil, but no. No matter where you set them, no matter how many times you spin them around, their moral compasses point with unerring certainty toward maximum atrocity and cruelty.

The immigration laws in the US are not, for the most part, designed to keep people out. They're designed to create a precariousness that allows for exploitation on a subset of the population. This benefits certain people (employers in certain sectors) but is not good for the country or immigrants.
