It’s about six years today we went viral with this Dickens letter about his (last) Christmas turkey exploding in a GWR locomotive accident in 1869. I made origamis of a copy of the original as a xmas present and almost caused the curator to have a cardiac arrest thinking I cut up the original 🦃🚂🔥

I’ve been looking at this Tierilä’s work Pelastuneet (the saved) in the Researcher’s Room of the Library of Finnish Parliament for an year now and it is an accurate depiction of what the final stages of PhD looks like. Also proof the library staff has wicked sense of humour 😂 #PhDSky #AcademicSky
