Part 1/2 of a 6-panel SMBC comic update. A priest confronts a kid for falling asleep in church. The kid starts to recite Acts 20:9-11 as his explanation. He says : "And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead. And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him. When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.”

Part 2/2 of a 6-panel SMBC comic update. After quoting the Bible verse, the kid explains "Paul’s preaching was so boring a kid literally fell out a third story window and had to be resurrected just to hear more sermon, and you’re mad at ME for finding you boring?" The final panel cuts to a later scene, where the priest declares "the scripture memorization prize is officially canceled. We will now be rewarding doing what I say."

Let this sink in. Cornell University refused to refund Jane Doe's tuition the semester she was raped. Without this money, she could not transfer to another school. Essentially, she was forced to stay on campus where she saw those seven rapists frequently. Eventually she dropped out of college.

My husband and his friends realised they thought they were good guys but still made like, ironic-sexist jokes. They introduced the 'sexism snake' where wherever one of them made a sexist comment or joke, the others would just start hissing. Didn't need to get into an argument about it, just hissing.

they could technically "shove one out of a shipping crate" but as far as I understand it, these drones are still remote-controlled, you'd still need somebody in range to run it. it's just as "evil" as any other weapon, and remote controlled ground drones have been around for about a century

I'm aware of what suicide attack means, I just find your parallel pretty poor in this case. the vast majority of suicide attacks in modern times have been deployed against non-military targets by non-state actors (i.e. terrorist attacks). this is definitely not Ukraine's UGV deployment strategy

Google finally updated some of its satellite images of Gaza and my god, it's horrific. The entirety of Rafah has been demolished. The majority of Khan Younis is in ruins. Entire towns completely leveled and erased of the map.
