Panicky because I procrastinated too long and now everything has to happen all at once and as usual, the only solution is to SLOW DOWN a little, see what you can Plan-B, and assume everything is going to work out. The universe is a friendly place (not my natural vibe but I'm practicing).

I've been posting on social media about an upcoming art show and Meta is marking all the posts as AI content. I have not and do not plan to ever use AI for writing social media posts or anything else. It's so dishonest of them. They're the ones who steal people's work, not me.

Lake forever, problems for now
Sunrise over the lake from Randolph and Michigan. The sun is blowing out the shot, but is still kissing the horizon. The park is dark in contrast and we can see a break water wall and a water crib in the lake.

i think we should all take a little break to chill out and draw a little Snoopy
A diagram showing how to draw Snoopy. I am having trouble figuring out how to describe the pictures so I will simply transcribe the text in the image.
1. Start with the slope of Snoopy's head
2. Finish Snoopy's head and add a curve for his ear.
3. Give Snoopy an eye, eyebrow, and collar.
4. Now he needs his nose, ear, and a smile!
5. Continue Snoopy's body and the shape of an arm.
6. Add marks for his paw, his spot, and tail.
7. Draw his feet and toes, and you're done!

Thinking about realities that stood out to me in my life. The world I knew before 9/11 was different and in my mind it was better. 2001-2020 just felt odd. Not great, not horrible, but off. Then post 2020, it feels like everything did a speed run into dystopia and currently has no end in sight.

A government check that only spends on American goods is a subsidy contingent on domestic over imported purchases. WTO rules explicitly ban that. So Trump's $5,000 idea is either a slogan with no real content, or a policy that invites a fresh round of retaliatory tariffs.

This is a story from 2014 about the artist who made the blue-squares installation at the 9/11 museum. Everyone who was in New York talks about how blue the sky was on that day, and I thought it was a poignant way to memorialize those memories in art. #GiftArticle

Thank you Heather Cox Richardson for repeating the truth about the Biden economy. I am so tired of their bashing and lies. He did an outstanding job in restoring economic growth.
"If you are watching members of this administration, they are constantly blaming the Biden administration for their own problems. And just a reminder, the Biden economy was so strong that the economist, which is NOT a hotbed of leftist ideology, let me tell you, said it was the envy of the world. That Biden had knocked it out of the park, that he had done the equivalent of a catching an egg on a plate, bringing the United States out of the Pandemic to the strongest country in the world. So, this idea that somehow Biden screwed up is just absolutely ridiculous, and certainly, almost two years into a second administration to continue to say, 'Oh it's Biden’s fault' is just ridiculous."
