Perfect timing! High-quality curriculum is in the "more effective, lower cost" quadrant. I suspect that effectively implementing curriculum is higher cost than we think. E.g. coaching could be helpful, and that shows up in the "more effective, higher cost" quadrant. www.nytimes.com/2026/09/28/u...

It makes sense that when students try to engage agentically in science classrooms, how the teacher responds can affect students' motivation. But I haven't seen such detailed mixed methods analyses before. Student extrinsic motivation goes up when teachers do not support agentic engagement.

I've paid for upgraded models. I've used careful prompts to ask for "deep research" on areas of literature. And AI, as of yet, does not do lit reviews better. (I'd never use it for peer review.) It lacks access to important lit. And when I've asked it to review my own material, it produces...(1/2)
