I can't imagine how there'd be a No Go call made that rapidly that is now being re-reviewed without high-level pressure to do so. The speed at which the No-Go was called made it seem they followed their commit checklist. #Starship

If there is one thing we have learned from human spaceflight (and especially the Shuttle programme), it is that rushing (without a massive injection of resources and cash) is very dangerous.

The turnout at the One Day Cup final is a savage indictment of the direction that #cricket has been driven in its pursuit of money. No sponsor that I can see, swathes of empty seats and its bloody freezing. Those who have done this should hang their heads in shame.

Dylan is right about the loss of surprise as you get older. I loved discovering a band and a type of music, or watching a new type of film or reading a book that shocked me. I still see new things, but they don't astound me in the way that they did when I was 20. I really miss that.

This has been a low key brilliant test match. Pitch looks great but conditions are tricky. A young, maverick cricketer has added a touch of magic and it hasn’t been mediocre, one way traffic. This is why I love Pakistan cricket . No other team can do this.

War Game: China gets its own Golden Dome, sparking a space arms race
An unspoken assumption in the Golden Dome’s development is that America will be the only nation to deploy such a system. The Nonproliferation Policy Education Center (NPEC)’s three-day multiple-move space game, which took place this June, assumed otherwise. Game players included current and former Pentagon space officials, Hill and military staff, as well as outside space experts. Some participants were keen supporters of the Golden Dome.
