I'm exceedingly underwhelmed by s4 of Bridgerton, & I don't think it's bcs I'm still mad about them covering Penelope up in S3. Were the writers high or something? I do enjoy the actor playing Sophie, she's doing a great job, but really, this just isn't very good. Everything is off about it.

#WaderWednesday A Wilson’s Snipe, quietly hanging out by the canal at Ridgefield NWR this week. Almost in Borb territory with that stocky little body. A snipe's eyes are set remarkably far back and high on the sides of its head, giving the bird a nearly 360-degree field of vision. 🪶📷

Managed to get out to the park to get the willow branches I need for a winter project. It was a nice walk. Ever since Covid wrecked my life, I've felt so trapped in this house that just a simple walk in the park felt like a grand adventure. Wildcrafted some hickory & walnuts too. Walnuts are fun.

Oh no! 🤭 I think I mis-ID’d today’s young Hooded oriole. I’m thinking this is a young Mr Hoodie. Looks like the beginning of the light gray phase of the throat patch that will become black and reach up to form a mask around the eyes as an adult. I doubt it will be here long enough to see more gray 🪶

Ruby- throated Hummingbirds have been around for 5 months and 3 weeks. This is the first one caught on camera in March and that's a lot of sugar water! We'll see when they all head out for their migration. There's a lot of turnover right now as they fuel up and head out. 🪶

As a severely disabled person who can't do the nature walks I used to love being able to do so much... Thank you to every single person who shares photos.
