Ok. @onecityvan.bsky.social voters. Is anyone else still undecided about how to vote for Mayor and additional council or parks board seats? (personally, I've made my decisions for school board already). Spending my afternoon watching baseball and researching candidates.....

I know I'm deeply biased but I genuinely think OneCity has the best candidates. Like every single one is excellent. I was impressed by some of the other parties' candidates, but no one has a full slate as strong as OneCity does.

Commute got you down? We can fix that. OneCity Candidate Iona Bonamis 陶思穎 outlines Project Greenlight, which could save you weeks of your life in traffic. If you want City Hall to help you get you where you're going faster, volunteer, donate, and VOTE OneCity. #transit #vanpoli

Surprise surprise, I aligned with @onecityvan.bsky.social . Not shocking as I want to see Vancouver become a city with ample housing and transportation options for all. Check what civic party you're most aligned with!

Rory Brown is running for VSB Trustee with the OneCity Team to put resources back into the classroom — not the board room. Parents, students, and staff in our public schools have endured brutal cuts to basic supports the past four years. They shouldn’t have to suffer another four.

I urge everyone to vote OneCity across the board, but especially for School Board. No other party has put forward a slate this experienced. VSB schools have seen brutal cuts in services and an apalling lack of open engagement at the board level. Schools, teachers and our kids deserve better.

True, they haven't released a specific housing policy in this election, but they have a vision of the Vancouver they want to build and a statement of values both of which are backed by their elected members' voting record and approach in council going back several years.

Ethics and good governance are important, for sure. But towards what end if our systems continue to favor the wealthy and privileged and ignore the real needs of people for housing, transportation and livable climate and we continue to fund the VPD over community centres and libraries?

I'm so dissapointed that @wazaroff.bsky.social has stepped down. While I agree that the election has to be about what's best for the city, not any one person, I am troubled by the lack of platforms, policy proposals - even statement of values I've seen from other ostensible progressives running.

Name recognition and incumbency are still given too much weight in municipal elections, in my experience. We will have better leaders if we choose based on leadership ability, actual experience/background, policy priorities, listening/learning skills, integrity, and good judgement/decision-making.
