So grateful for all the good conversations in parks and phone calls and on door steps already, #LittleMountain! I hear your concerns about the trade war and about the Conservatives. And I hear your love for this place and your passion to stand up strong together! There’s important work ahead.

We’re talking to voters and putting up signs in #Vancouver #LittleMountain! I’m glad to be part of a great team, out having real conversations with voters about the issues that matter most to you. If you want a sign, send me a DM. And if you see me out in the community, say hello! #BCPoli

The BC election is on. 🗳️ We’re in a critical moment, with threats to our sovereignty from the South, and toxic US-style politics from the Right. This is our chance to stand up for British Columbia and form a strong majority government ready to deliver for the people of our province. 1/4

The walk to school is often a child's first step towards independence & it should be a safe one. School's back Sept. 8, so slow down in school zones & watch for kids. With ICBC & local communities, we're making streets around schools safer for kids, one crossing at a time. @lisabeare.bsky.social

Good news for renters! B.C. has now seen 25 consecutive months of year-over-year rent decreases, saving the average renter nearly $4000 a year from the peak in 2023.    New data shows average asking rents in B.C. decreased by 4.5% overall year over year, with purpose-built rental rents down 4.1%.

Renters👇 this one’s for you.   Housing is way too expensive. It makes life hard when such a large part of your income goes towards your rent. This has to change.   Here’s the good news: asking rents in B.C. are finally going down — and it’s not by accident. A #homesforpeople 🧵

From 2007-2016 the average number of new purpose built rental units across BC was ~2,500 per year. In 2025 it was 26,000! 🎉 Asking rents are going down ⬇️ Vacancy rates are going up, creating more choice for renters ⬆️ We’re delivering #HomesForPeople, in communities they love. ❤️ #BCPoli

Across BC, renters are starting to see real relief:  • Asking rents are down 12.5% from 2023  • Vacancy rates are rising  • More options for renters, including ability to negotiate their rent • 26,000+ purpose-built rentals registered in 2025  Progress is underway, with more to do.
BC is building more rental homes than we've seen in decades
