I could kiss you! Reading the notes in a cafe right now and can’t wait to get home and try this out. I have a hobby project in Claude involving complex spreadsheets and research and I’ve REALLY been struggling with many of the issues this solves. Continuity between sessions and threads, etc.

This was partly down to the (so good) 1971 movie which already changed up the Oompa-Loompas b/c the movie studio weren’t idiots. However, it’s a shame the publisher convinced Dahl to write the sequel The Great Glass Elevator after the movie came out because a) it’s awful and b) it’s SOOO racist!

Arguments on both sides of course. But the classic example must be Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The publisher didn’t just edit the text or change a word. They got Dahl to revise the entire description & backstory of the Oompa-Loompas from African Pygmies to ppl from Loompaland.
