I'm employed right now but I was contacted for it, not from applying to a job posting. So those are still the *only* three official categories of anim. job posts of the year 2026

Reetta Linjama @kelipipo.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

The three animation job postings in 2026 1: posted in good faith, removed within a day because they got 8000 submissions and panicked 2: a job posting for your exact experience, that you applied to 2 months ago without hearing a thing, that's still up and being boosted 3: Twine sign-up links

I’ve got two conventions to table at this month, Spark on 20th, NWCF on 26th. Right now I feel so burned out, enough to wonder if I should just cancel my tables. But it’s possible I’ll recover before those wkends, although I don’t have the space in my brain for promo. At least they’re one-day cons

What I really do think is that *stealing* and *cheating* and *lying* are actions that we shame people for VERY regularly, down at the personal, day-to-day community level. And generative AI has enabled people to do those things without shame, and holy shit does that need correction

It was an absolute pleasure to draw @morganics.bsky.social's character Lizbeth! #illustration #PaintToolSai #commission

A digital illustration of a tall, slender woman with dark skin and black hair, confined in a neat bun. She wears a long, thin grey cardigan over a black dress with silver trim. On the breast of the cardigan is a small silver pin composed of three overlapping rectangles.
Antlers emerge from her head, decorated in tinsel and small bobbles. Her dark eyes give off an ethereal glow. On each of her folded fingers is at least one silver ring. She has the stern expression of someone who never takes any shit.

Jake Gyllenhaal is a weirdly hilarious actor, always has superbly funny moments without ruining the vibe of the story he's in IMO If it wasn't for Conawd McGrsjhfgn, Doug Liman's 'Road House' would be a fun movie actually. I need to watch the original

After being robbed at knifepoint and chained to a radiator, the ten year old protagonist of 'Last Action Hero' goes to a midnight movie. I've never been through that, but I'd been through my own share of shit at the time I saw this movie aaand... that lines up so much with my feeling of being a fan

'People really need AI in running their day-to-day lives! People really DEPEND on it!' ...How did I get through the 80s, hell, even in 2024 we were surviving without any. I can't believe AI agents don't have a better sell, they must not be putting all that VC money into good marketing strategies

My favourite part about being a big, strong, masculine man with a hairy chest and muscles- a warrior poet, whose pen and sword are equally huge and powerful - is constantly being a whiny victim who can't engage with contemporary culture because there's too many not-men in there.

I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

When people ask me about their show ideas, and if its 'good' its like. Well, most ideas are good. Most ideas i can see working, or not working, depending on how you approached them. Its not about the idea - its about YOU. a story about horror, mystery, friendship - sure..but what about YOU.

Day 30: Black & White #ArtRepostJuly A pen and ink illustration I made of a Gyrfalcon for #birdwhisperer back in January. If you're thinking "its head is far too big" you are correct. #birdart #bird #illustration #b&wart #penandink

A black and white illustration drawn with a dip pen of a gyrfalcon. Conveniently, its a black and white bird of prey, mostly white with black stripes on its wing and tail feathers. Its perched on a tree stump with its back to us and its head turned over its shoulder looking to the right.
