I think the 3rd point here is the most important. UK goods exports to the UK are just not large enough for tariffs to be a *major* economic shock (though of course they will do some damage). The wider impact to the global economy (demand, confidence, investment, interest rates) is much worse.

My bullshit-ometer went off immediately, and guess what... the article itself contradicts the headline. In fact, most migrants speak English as their first language. But 8.6% - equal to 794,332 people -"can not speak English well" And 1.4% - equal to 137,876 - can not speak it at all.
