You know how much I love Galgos Del Sol - this clip is of the rescues in their retirement home for the very old oldies, wobblies, sicklies, biters, blind, and all others who they don't rehome and give the absolute best lives possible. Pure happiness ❤️

It’s 186 years to the day since a man called Thomas O’Conor wrote a report about a stone figure on a church in Kiltinane, County Tipperary. This would be unremarkable were it not for what the statue looked like, because this was the first written use of the term Sheela-na-gig

The heirs of Jewish art dealer Jacques Goudstikker have collected two paintings we recovered, looted in WWII. One hung for decades with an SS general’s descendants. The other was found with the bulky waste. Little Max, aged six, was there too.

In the meantime, I know this is the longest shot ever, but if you know any rock band who might be willing to do a gig in a very small village in west Normandy, do let me know. If previous manifestations are anything to go by, they'll be well fed (two retired chefs see to the catering here)

And finally my favourite, Sulking Anguished Corner Guy accompanied by his friend, Electrickery Box Rock, who to be honest he doesn't really like very much and is thinking of unfriending on Livejournal, which he still uses, it's actually great for the long-form stuff
In the bottom left corner is an electrical cabinet of some years with an ochre rock perched on top of it. Alongside it some kind of earth wire in a duct runs up to the gutter where a lone head with an aggrieved expression lurks in the shadows
