How do families with SEND children cope with summer holidays?
Parents say a shortage of suitable holiday activities leaves them providing care 24 hours a day.

UKHSA responds to the confirmation from @WHO that the UK has lost its measles elimination status. Read more from WHO here: bit.ly/3YZuOFa
Dr Vanessa Saliba, Consultant Epidemiologist at UKHSA, said: 'Infections can return quickly when childhood vaccine uptake falls; elimination is only possible if all children receive two MMRV doses before school. Older children and adults who missed vaccination must be caught up. The NHS is making vaccination easier, including offering the second MMRV dose earlier at a new 18-month appointment to boost uptake and support elimination goals.'

I have no interest in trying to dunk on anyone but there is absolutely no evidence for this at all. SARS-CoV-2 has not been demonstrated to make you more susceptible to other infections by impairing the function of your immune system.
The highest rate on record.

It staggers me that no-one in public health seems to be acknowledging that immune dysregulation caused by prior SARS-CoV-2 infection is likely a significant factor in this, and the implications of this concept going forward.

The worst charts I've ever seen at work
A 3d bar chart for one single data point ("yes") showing 10 people would "cook this recipe at home"A 3d line chart that is almost impossible to read showing (I think) numbers of people who would use coconut oil, olive oil, or vegetable oil when eating starchy foods?A totally illegible bat chart (2d this time, phew) showing numbers of people leaving different free text comments to a survey. The axis includes half person points on the scale. 2 people appear to have left the same illegible comment. Why does this exist?
