Some good news for a change: Overcoming a massive and aggressive tech lobby and a squeamish, Silicon Valley-friendly governor, the labor movement has managed to pass a raft of first-of-their-kind AI laws aimed at protecting workers in California.

i think about the “do not split” principle from hong kong often
Yet if the movement is leaderless and anarchic, it isn't chaotic. It has guiding principles that allow participants to self-regulate even as the movement constantly reinvents itself.
Among those principles is "KHI" ("do not split"). Protesters use the expression to say that no one in the movement should condemn or obstruct the actions of fellow protesters they disagree with.
People who oppose a given action should sit it out, but not try to prevent it.

regardless of what happens to the tariffs, they're doomed from the start because the average conservative holds all three of these positions at once: — virtue signals about supporting US manufacturing — against increasing the minimum wage — buys foreign imports because they're cheap
HardPass4 on Twitter tweets: "I'm willing to pay more for quality products if they are made in America, by Americans, who are paid a decent income." The tweet shows Norman Rockwell's "Freedom of Speech" painting, which is often used to show the tweeter is expressing a brave opinion. HardPass4 on Twitter tweets: "MINIMUM WAGE JOBS WERE NOT MEANT TO BE A CAREER. Why does no one understand this? Entry level jobs are STEPPING STONES to better jobs. No one wants to work towards that though."HardPass4 on Twitter tweets: "Buy $5 gloves instead of $50 ones. Trust me." The tweet shows a box of "Gorilla Grip" gloves. We really need to make this point over & over again. When they say, "we're going to try to be more fair & represent the right's perspective," it *sounds* (especially to them) like trying to do better journalism, but in practice, it is the opposite, because the right is built on lies.

The problem here isn't just the answer but the question. Mamdani has denounced antisemitism and clarified his position on this random slogan *other people* chanted at a protest numerous times. This is only a "tough question" if you think it's your job to repeat bad faith Republican attacks.
