What I like about this example is: legal or not legal, it's probably *safer* for everyone. Gets them clear of the intersection before traffic starts moving, puts them out in the drivers' sight lines, and lets them get up to speed before having to worry about cars passing them

I just wish the reporter hadn't said the driver was "disrupting the innocence of the activity but also showing why practicing bike safety is so crucial." The people on the bikes were doing everything they could to keep everyone safe. The driver of the Jeep was unhinged.
