A few years ago, my lab started a list of papers analyzing antigen-specific #Bcells w/ fluorescent probes via #flowcytometry. We are now releasing this list of 700+ papers as a searchable database on my lab website with a short overview. www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...

Overall germinal center and Tfh cell responses did associate with outcome. And human B cells engineered to be specific for oncoprotein potently stimulate human CD4+ T cells specific engineered to express an oncoprotein-specific TCR cloned from a patient sample (3/5)

While our tumor sample cohort is small, we could accurately predict disease outcome in 14 of 14 cases by analyzing oncoprotein-specific B cells. In contrast, when we analyzed the much larger populations of B cells in the same samples, this predictive ability is diminished (2/5).

Excited to share this preprint of our work studying B cells specific for the oncoprotein driving most cases of Merkel cell carcinoma. While oncoprotein-specific B cells are rare in tumor samples, when we detect robust responses in tumor samples patients do not experience disease progression. (1/5)
