That’s completely fair. I criticised the Greens recently for not shutting up about taxing gas exports. Normally, I’d 100% agree with that position. However, Albo was right to hold off on introducing it. When we are experiencing a global oil crisis, we don’t want to piss of allies who are helping us

Cutting funding and community supports for people who genuinely need them is not going to solve the major design flaws within the NDIS. The whole system was designed with no real oversight for anything. Private support workers who don’t work for a registered agency is a prime example of no oversight

Labor won a lot of their seats back from the Greens last election and look how far that has gotten them. ALP also failed to run a good campaign for the Voice referendum which allowed One Nation and LNP to run wild with misinformation and it had helped normalise Pauline’s disgusting racist rhetoric

& Labor have never addressed the many flaws in the system that they created. Instead, they want to cut funding for Australians who are living with a disability & rely heavily on the NDIS. Perhaps ALP should’ve focused less on demonising the Greens for blocking bills & focused on their real enemies

The Greens blocked Labor’s housing bill before the last federal election to fight for more PUBLIC HOUSING. Albo was very vocal about growing up in housing commission during his first campaign. Interesting how the Greens fought harder for public housing than he did. Labor rolled out the NDIS in 2012

I was just given a brand new Mazda hire car to drive while my car is undergoing repairs and there is a knob you can turn to operate the screen while driving. You just can’t use the touch screen while the car is moving. I can literally be searching for a podcast while driving 100km/h. So dangerous

My hottest “I have no data to back this up” take is that phones aren’t making young people less happy. What’s making them less happy is living in a world where everyone is having their reality defined by recommendation algorithms that can only care about whether something keeps you watching.

Young adult happiness is falling. Percent of young people who are pretty or very happy has dropped from 88% to 76% over the last 15 years after having held fairly steady between 1980 and 2010
