Also, we had a great relationship with the women's frisbee team, and they co-hosted every party, which helped us not have any kind of sexual assault or harassment culture on our team. Again, it helped that I basically went to a commuter school, not every frisbee team will be like this.

I'll always be grateful my ultimate frisbee team had such a great culture, because there wasn't anything like this. No one was forced to drink at parties, no one was hazed, it was a fun time. Helps I didn't go to a school with a big frat culture, though.

shutting down frat houses won't end rape culture, but it will disorganize a lot of rapists, and i think that's probably worth doing if only to destabilize what is apparently an ecology of organizations that functionally exist to rape women per the whole "purpose of a system is what it does" insight.

Taylor mentioned X is better under Elon, which is an insane take with how Nazi it's gotten (even with "tech twitter" as she mentions). She's far more positive on data centers than most of the left. Not to mention going on right-wing media is a legit criticism, even if there's nuance to it.

Won't disagree there's definitely an ableist angle to some of the hate, as someone who's also covid conscious. Keep seeing "she wasn't masking!" with the FP article when it mentions her masking before the paywall. But to say it's the whole reason for it is just wrong.

I take these whenever I see it, but I always seem to get red in both Virginia (where I'm from) and California. I'm curious if the red there has anything to do with Hollywood, given I was a military brat, or if California is just really similar to the DC area.
