Played a little bit of the Castlevania demo. Idk how to feel about it other than the music just sounding like spookytrapbeats.wav

Inb4 skill issue but this demo tells me right away Belmont's Curse isn't for me. The demo boss feels "OoE Blackmore" hard and while that was a fun late-game challenge, this is probably the easiest encounter the game will have. I swear the final lasso locked on to me jumping so I dunno y'all got it 🤷‍♂️

I was reminded of LovePlus for the DS/3DS and frankly the past decade of Chinese and Korean gacha dominance can be summarized as: they made available to a worldwide audience gameplay experiences that Japan gatekeept for decades prior.

A world where a twist ending is repurposed as a video title. where a thing's climax has been removed, leaving an advertisment for the gap where it used to be. such things are commonplace in. the twilight zone

They fired so many artists over this too. People who helped make the game iconic were tossed out on the street because the Slop Faucet could do it "decent enough". If you still play Fortnite, you're funding the hyper-acceleration of AI replacing Artists in Gaming

kudos to macklemore here for —right off the bat— the perspective and acknowledgment of who the real victims are

I'm not sure how to start this. So I'm going to speak from the heart and share the truth. Ed Sheeran and his team have made the decision to remove me from The Loop tour.

But before I get into it, I want to say something that should be obvious. In this moment I think it matters. I am not a victim. Ed Sheeran is not a victim. Pink is not a victim. We have careers, money, opportunities, safety and audiences around the world. Whatever consequences any of us face for what we say, we get to go home to our families.

The victims are the Palestinian people. The men, women and children who have been killed, starved, displaced and forced to live through unimaginable violence. More than 20,000 children have been killed in Gaza alone. People are being killed today, and people will be killed tomorrow. I want to make sure that as I tell this story, we don't lose sight of that.
