Yesterday afternoon 14:09 in Lacanau Océan in France. A pale red sun through the smoke tinged everything in Mars style orange. Welcome in the climate emergency! Despite all denial of the fossil fuel lobby, it’s scientific fact: CO2 emissions heat up Earth & make fires worse. 🔥🔥🔥

27.05.1942|Prague: Jozef Gabčík and Jan Kubiš, Czechoslovak SOE-trained paratroopers, ambushed the car of Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich, head of the Reich Security Main Office and one of the architects of the #Holocaust. That assassination attempt proved successful. Heydrich died 8 days later.

We have recently clarified our penalties for this. If a submission contains incontrovertible evidence that the authors did not check the results of LLM generation, this means we can't trust anything in the paper. 3/

The penalty is a 1-year ban from arXiv followed by the requirement that subsequent arXiv submissions must first be accepted at a reputable peer-reviewed venue. 4/

Totally uncool as in "global warming, whatever." Climate change is an economics issue, a health issue, an ag issue, a housing issue, a refugee issue, a public safety issue; you can talk about it in those terms, but not talking about it is not addressing the largest crisis of our time.....

For five days, the ChatGPT group outperformed on every metric.
