I have been a Chase Freedom Card member for almost 20 years. It was my very first credit card. I got it after I graduated college. And after 20 years out of nowhere, #ChaseBank increases my APR with the explanation of, “Because we can!” This is exploitative.

A friend trusted me with their Sheaffer’s fountain pen from the 1950s and asked me to fix the vacuum filling mechanism as the last person they hired didn’t. After waiting for replacement parts, cleaning, testing, and going back to adjust I’ve successfully fixed it!

Went to the Hobonichi release at Paper & Pencil yesterday. While the line was long, it was fun getting to know my line neighbors. Please enjoy my weeks planner with the extra journal pages, and the lovely stickers I picked up while there. Can’t wait to use my fountain pens with it!

I had never spent more than $104 for a fountain pen, but I love thecoffeemonsterzco’s work so much I decided to gamble on her collab with Esterbrook. Absolutely worth it and I think the Forgotten Iced Coffee is a fun color, I can always put in something darker if needed.

Just a warning about Casper mattresses: they do NOT hold up. I’ve had mine for just a couple of years and it was doing fine, but recently got into a Little Nemo-type situation and the bed broke up over the North Atlantic. Ended up needing a Coast Guard rescue and they laughed at my big nightshirt
