There's a really beautiful contrast between the scene where Cassian and Vel drink to the fallen. The rebellion consumes people too, because it must, but they, at least, will be remembered and loved. Dedra is alive at the end, for now, but no one will remember her.

no, it is the other way around. if you are looking at D+14 (or D+12 or +10 or even +8) generic ballot then there is basically no point in trying to tamper with anything. you are going to lose, the only ? is how bad it is going to be. it's when the election is *tight* that tampering makes sense.
