like it was designed so a strong gov't couldn't "cheat" by calling early elections. but it also stopped a minority gov't from calling early elections if it couldn't get anything passed but also the opposition couldn't agree on a replacement gov't, bc who would even imagine such a thing happening

only thing they got passed was the fixed term parliament, which would've made it easier for them to switch coalition parties but also almost blew up the parliamentary system in 2019 and was later repealed

they tried to implement an alternate vote system for the commons (tories agreed to hold a referendum, then campaigned against it and it lost) and a proportionally elected upper house (tory backbenchers revolted against it en masse and it killed the bill)

the only way to keep claude alive is to never stop furiously typing into the prompt and you are morally obligated to do so. i just set up two agents to constantly prompt each other, ethical problem solved
