A lot of far right wing politicians in both the US and the UK are going to look really ridiculous if the Fairford incident turns out to be a diesel burglary.

This finding underlines why we should not take precise MRP numbers v seriously at this stage - huge numbers of seats are projected to be v close - a small shift in national sentiment or a modest and plausible level of tactical switching could dramatically change seat numbers

I only want to hear from Hampshire Police when they have nicked Danny Tommo and had him remanded in custody. There are so MANY criminal offences - including very serious ones- caught on video It would be utterly inexcusable not to act and charge him appropriately.

I want to support Labour for obvious reasons but again and again they make it impossible, playing directly into the hands of extremists. It’s not like there are no precedents for their appeasement. Aren’t they scared of where we are & their part in that ? www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cm5yjzj8l5k5o

Great to hear the PM say “We are going to be much prouder in standing up for our values and the rule of law” re foreign information warfare. I wonder if he or the Home Secretary might consider doing the same when it comes to masked vigilantes shutting down infrastructure and harassing the RNLI

I don't think we disdain the center-right enough. First, they rode nativist populist tigers to power to get their tax cuts and deregulation; Then, they lost control of their own parties to those tigers; Now, they sit in lucrative jobs as columnists writing about how it's all the left's fault.

Reform and Restore won't be happy until there's footage of drowning migrants daily on peak time TV. They are insatiable. The main parties need to confront and not indulge them.

Andy Burnham: 'Over the past decade, Labour has taken a very wrong turn over immigration. By doing so we've enabled the rise in racism and anti-immigrant feeling that has led to disasters like the attacks on the RNLI. That stops now. This is not the UK that I love.' Nah. Kidding. He says nothing.

It is incredibly important that political violence does not succeed. The far-right mob that shut down Portsmouth wanted this outcome. If the state wishes to avoid more of these actions, it needs to make sure this RNLI branch reopens *immediately*, or as close to that as humanly possible.
