This is from an SSRN digest email from over the summer. The associated document is still on SSRN. Did an AI app post this (perhaps after a person typed in a command to post "my recent writings"?), or is this a normal thing for a person to do?

Is this person six years old?
For most of my life, I was proud to call myself an early adopter. I didn’t think twice about buying a futuristic gadget or downloading a newfangled app.

But in recent years, my love for the new has started to wane.

I’ve felt overloaded by the gizmos, software updates and A.I.-powered everything that have made life increasingly complicated. New stuff has brought brief utility and enjoyment before taking up permanent residence in the back of an already-cluttered closet.

I thought these new things would bring joy and happiness. So why did they seem to do the opposite?

Historically, automation tech has commonly made more work for people: the issue is WHICH people. Whether as an excuse for owners to increase the requirements for expectations in a given day, lessen the labor expected of men while raising the expectations for women, etc. "AI" isn't exceptional.

It's infuriating that this is being touted as legitimate scholarly research. (I've cut off the credentials of the "Lead Researcher.") These claims are based entirely on audience surveys before and after performances.
KEY FINDINGS: 98% Emotionally Moved / 70% Loved the Show / 69% Stronger Resiliency
Watching dance significantly reduces anxiety and negative emotions while increasing positive emotions.

ABOUT THIS STUDY
Does watching dance make people feel better?
That is the question Boulder Ballet set out to answer — and after three years of research, the evidence is clear.

“For now, we know — without a doubt — that watching dance makes people feel better.”

CVS website claims to have Novavax in stock at my location, but if I try to schedule it, I get this. If I say I want MRNA--no problem, I can schedule an appointment. So the site is (1) lying about having Novavax in stock and (2) giving out inaccurate, dangerous medical advice.

If you cook with no-salt and low-salt ingredients, then sprinkle on your own at the table, you can (1) make sure your salt is iodized (industrial salt is not) and (2) eat less salt overall, which you probably need to do. (You taste it more, and so don't need as much, when it's on the surface.)

Amazing how intimate Gloria Steinem was with so many people, especially people who seem to have despised her. So many who, after her death, turn out to be on a first-name basis. Almost as if they're diminishing and condescending to her by using her first name. But surely we're beyond that.

Authoritarianism within a university makes the university and everything it purports to stand for vulnerable to authoritarianism outside the university. Pluralism is strength. Shared governance and unionization shore up democracy.

Excellent! Shared governance and academic freedom exist as founding principles *because* they protect from political coercion. Administrators can say "pursuant to the university mission and regent law, these are the principal responsibility of faculty governance". It speaks volumes when they do not.
The pressure the Trump administration exerted on Daniels, other university presidents, and AAU members to participate in drafting Compact 2.0 offers a clear warning. By creating a sense of urgency and addressing presidents and boards of trustees, the Trump administration encourages university presidents to bypass shared governance structures, due process, and proper consultation. It is alarming that AAU and university presidents succumbed to this pressure and failed to use this opportunity to strengthen the core of our institutions. Failing to work with faculty was a serious lapse in judgment. The drastic nature of the Trump administration’s proposals should not, and need not, lead to the circumvention of democratic and deliberative processes.
