For those following my “for Bluesky” fun with app review. I’ve updated my rejection and resubmitted to Apple after hearing from the Bluesky team. As a note for other devs, this usage is explicitly allowed in the Bluesky trademark policy in section 4.3: bsky.social/about/support/trademarks

I am not joking when I say this. Spotify, Apple Music, and streaming in general is over. My vinyl collection is now very, very good. You don't know yet because all all the vinyl bangers circulating today are only being played in my office. All my vinyls have solved infinite bangers.

Probably good news here, Boost Blue just was approved. That suggests inexperienced reviewers rather than a systematic change in enforcement from Apple. @cameronbanga.com @tunji.dev

Does anyone have any connections at Apple? Both @getskyscraper.com and @heron.social are getting App Store rejections for being copycats. The way this is being applied essentially bans 3rd party clients, which I doubt is intentional.

So I've been building the Apple native video editing app of my dreams No projects, no libraries, just drop in files, trim, crop, add AI captions, export and get out. On macOS, iOS, iPadOS and Duo And I'm calling it – against my better judgement – Trimothy TestFlight link👇

Every complaint I see from Chris Hansen about Primetime just makes me more sure that the movie’s portrayal of him as an egomaniac is probably accurate.

I'm really excited about Bluesky spaces, but I don't think they're going to be the catalyst that makes Bluesky successful. Micro-blogging UX is basically solved. People don't use X over Bluesky because it has better features, they use it because that's where the people they want to engage with are.

I had mixed feelings about Liquid Glass when it was initially announced. It looked really good, but the UX integration seemed half-baked. This is worse than half-baked.

I think this is the third time I've been thinking through how I can build something for @boostsports.bsky.social, only for @graze.social to release a feature that solves the problem for me. Don't mind me, just building an entire social media app with Graze as a back end.
