part of the comp sci A Level course is coursework, where we all have to do our own projects, plan it, build it (even if not fully working!) and document our analysis. watching things like OpenAI dev day and other AI-related events, I just wonder why we still do the code ourselves.

i still find it funny that companies like OpenAI & Anthropic are willing to release a cheaper model soon after their expensive one, and they promote it as having performance near the expensive one. surely they want us using the better model?

new Firefox version is out with the new UI redesign! I think it's grown on me since the earlier beta versions I tested, but it'll take some getting used to for sure. I like the new theming though, but I do think they should let people switch between the new rounded design vs the original style

just setup Hermes agent for like the 4th time now. I have it running on GPT-6 luna, and it seems pretty cheap so far. I'll see how this plays out over hours tho. so far I've just been doing basic input & outputs with it.

well i just got bluesky working on old twitter apps in this lol set a custom API url (root & search endpoints) in the login page, both to `http://mockingbird.j4ck.xyz` and then enter your username + an app password (over http, be careful!)
