New paper out! We examined EEG and autonomic responses during threat anticipation and asked whether this state of “attentive immobility” influences memory encoding. We found enhanced perceptual processing, but this did not translate into better memory. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/...

EU friends: pls be aware that you cannot share certain types of data on Zenodo because Zenodo does actually not comply with GDPR. @lakens.bsky.social 's blog has a great summary. It's a pretty serious reason to avoid Zenodo for researchers who work with data, if I understand the issue correctly.
