This isn't actually using GenAI at all, I'm assuming Capcom worded it this way to appease shareholders who aren't happy that they're not embracing AI, but the side effect is that now everyone who only read this headline and not the article thinks the next Resident Evil is being written by ChatGPT

Getting tired of untested vibecoded ports that are just buggy and because no experienced coders are around, they can't fix it? Never fear, as I have listed decomps and recomps done by actual people and it will continue expanding! If you know any, lemme know!

#BoltaireArt #SNOUP #OC Crystie is a tough & capable ice crystali, but she has a sensitive side to her as well. A flaw in her body makes it constantly emit near-frigid temperatures, making it hard for her to get close with anyone. She'd love nothing more than a long, warm hug from a friend though.

Crystie is a tall crystali who has power over ice. Despite this, her inability to properly sync with her own energa has led to her body constantly emitting near-frigid temperatures. She's immune to it thankfully, but she's very self-conscience about it.

Here she's wrapping her arms around herself, showing how much she misses the feeling of a warm, friendly embrace.

A picture of Crystie that I drew last year for a comparison. There's a white, sparkly puff of air coming out of her mouth, which is a brief hint at how cold the insides of her body are.

Again she's thankfully immune to her body's own abnormal temperatures.

- Best controls of any Spyro game - Solid redesigns for every major character - Added dynamics for the new soundtrack - Gem Radar available for every game - All the Dragons in Spyro 1 look incredible and are worth saving now ~ That's about all I can think of, but that's more than enough for me. :)

it’s come to my attention that my tumblr post has been crossposted to bluesky, so I’m posting it on my account here #AntiAI #GenAI

recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen AI for script-writing but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen AI for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that AI can be useful in every field except the one that they know best.

It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation. The more attuned we are with certain processes, crafts, and occupations, the more we realize that gen AI will never be able to provide a suitable replacement. The case for its existence relies on our ignorance of the work and skill required to do everything we don't.

That does beg an important question; would they be another original game & licensed game respectively? Maybe two original games? 🤔

my9movies.net/en Now for the Movie Version. Again, didn't settle on favorites and focused on stuff that greatly influenced my taste in movies since childhood. If I ever have an opportunity to go more in-depth with my favorite movies (assuming I haven't already), I definitely will~

My 9 Movies: The 9 Movies That Shaped Who I Am

1 - Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (The Original 1938 Version)
2 - A Goofy Movie
3 - The Emperor's New Groove
4 - Tom and Jerry: The Movie (it's a guilty pleasure xD)
5 - Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island
6 - The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Movie
7 - The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie
8 - Blazing Saddles
9 - The Twelve Tasks of Asterix

Sad thing is I'm not even 100% sure these should be my choices cuz there's a ton more games I wanted to consider, like Bomberman 64, Mega Man X, Klonoa 2, the Sonic Adventure games and so-on. But alas, that's kind of the point with these kind of challenges. xD;

my9games.net/en This took me awhile cuz I didn't want to just pick 9 blanketed favorites; instead leaning hard into the whole "9 Games That Shaped Who I Am" tagline. Even went as far as to list them in the order I first played them. In any case, there's my "9 games." xD;

My 9 Games: The 9 Games That Shaped Who I Am

1 - Super Mario 64
2 - Diddy Kong Racing
3 - Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles
4 - Rayman 2: The Great Escape
5 - Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
6 - Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
7 - Super Smash Bros. Melee
8 - Luigi's Mansion
9 - Pac-Man World 2

DK's identity is more intact than ever with the new redesign. He's now able to more easily express the emotions they tried forcing on his old design that just never worked before, if that makes sense. The new design can do cool, goofy, angry, gentle, etc, and do them well! He's our same old DK!

Originally a minor villain intended to be a one-shot in the original comic, the animated adaptation made him the hero's most recurring villain and arch-nemesis, something that most adaptations simply took for granted. Post about Bluto from Popeye, pic unrelated.
