No offense but I’m not interested in hearing what someone younger than the Nintendo Wii has to say about old games being “bad and outdated.”

sorry that I haven’t gotten around to playing that critically acclaimed, massively influential game that is deeply important to you on a personal level, I’ve been sleepy for most of my life

I do have a NSFW account on here that you can ask about via DM if interested but but be advised it's one completely okay with all manner of taboo subject matter within the realm of fiction.

Every once in a while I think of that scene from Indie Game: The Movie where Soulja Boy is making fun of Braid and it cuts to Jonathan Blow's silhouette standing by a window with sad music playing as he laments how Soulja Boy doesn't get it and I can't stop laughing.

My copy of Look Back arrived from @gkids.com the other day (a bit more dinged on the corners than I’d have liked, it could have been packaged better to protect it) but nevertheless it’s a beautiful box set for a beautiful movie.

Jeepers Creepers might be the most overrated horror movie ever. People are so mad that Dead Meat refuses to cover it until Victor Salva is dead but even putting aside Salva being a POS I've never understood what people love about it.

My hot take is I like the combat in Silent Hill f and that people just hate it because they can't just mindlessly wail on enemies until they die.

"Why don't they just directly adapt RE1 into a movie?" Look, I've thought about it, and I really don't think it works. RE1 (REmake) is like my favorite game of all time but the medium of a game is different from that of a movie. Most of RE1's story is uncovered through files you find alone.

Did that 9 anime (or "animes") and games thing that shaped me. It was pretty hard to narrow down but I think this is pretty good...

I forgot Silent Hill Townfall comes out in mere days. I don't expect to love it as much as Silent Hill f (f really was something special) but I'm still looking forward to it.

"Cregger's Resident Evil didn't give off the feeling of Resident Evil, it just had a bunch of survival horror tropes." Motherfucker what game franchise do you think established those tropes???

Tomokocchi @tomokocchi.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

I think one of the dumbest criticisms I've seen thrown at Resident Evil is "the virus wouldn't do that". We're talking about a series where the same virus resulted in all these, mind you. That last one is a man made of leeches.

Resident Evil was great and, yeah, it gave the feeling of Resident Evil. It's sad we got the best Resident Evil movie adaptation ever and will probably never get another one because the fanbase kept screeching about there being snow.

The Crystal Lake series looks like it could be pretty damn good. The fact that they returned to filming locations In Blairstown, New Jersey (including the camp) from the original film has me really excited.

The Resident Evil criticism of "It's Resident Evil in name only. If it didn't mention Raccoon City/T-Virus/was called Resident Evil you'd never know it was Resident Evil." reminds me of the people who think Silent Hill f is Silent Hill "in name only."

Enjoyed Gigguk's new video about how Tomoko walked so Bocchi could run. And I'm very glad he gave a shout-out to the manga and how Tomoko has grown.

People poopooing Zach Cregger's Resident Evil because it's not a direct adaptation of a specific game is dumb. Not only have the reviews been great but I personally think making a movie about a guy that in a mainline game you'd just find a file about is genius.

I never quite got what anyone expected this to accomplish in the first place. Sony could not give less of a shit if you turn on the console and play the games you've already bought. You already bought it. They got the money from it. Stick it to Sony by cancelling PS+ and not buying PS6.

Thinking about "plus they'll probably have to deal with Godzilla at some point".

"Tried to watch 'Shin Godzilla" on the plane only to realize by the end of the movie that it actually a drama movie called 'Tears for you'. Words can't describe the feeling of watching an incredibly sad movie while constantly thinking: 'Damn... This is depressing. Plus, they'll probably have to deal with Godzilla at some point too...'"

What follows are four screencaps (presumably from "Tears for You"), showing a smiling woman (subtitled "I really love you."), a distant image from above of axwonsn in a white dress (subtitled"Thank you... for raising me."), a short-haired person weeping, and finally, an apprehensive woman (subtitled "living happily.")

Worth noting Mike McFarland wasn't just Master Roshi and his other iconic voice roles, but he directed some of the best dubs to come from Funimation like Yu Yu Hakusho. It's so sad what happened to him.

I'm so sad to hear about the passing of Mike McFarland. I will always know Mike best for his roles as Master Roshi and Yajirobe, of course, but also Ritsu Soma from both the 2001 and 2019 versions of Fruits Basket. May he RIP and fuck cancer.

I got the Dragon Ball meal from Burger King and the lemonade didn't come in a Goku cup and I guess they were out of the Super Sayain sauce for the nuggets so they opted to just give me no sauce lol. At least I got a Vegeta toy.

This remains the most cringey press release for a game I think I've ever seen. Throwing in DEI because they knew it was a buzzword to appeal to the sweatiest of basement dwellers while smearing the good name of Suda and Grasshopper. I hate seeing these clowns with my girl Juliet.

Too many people aren't looking at the big picture with Coyote vs. Acme because it hasn't made 10x it's budget at the box office or whatever. The point is IT'S OUT. You can see it. You'll be able to buy it on Bluray. It will no longer be lost media. It was saved. We won.

No Suda or Grasshopper at all combined with that cringey press release they put out a while back about how they won't be shackled to "woke" or "DEI" or whatever buzzword they threw in there tells me all I need to know about this dumpster fire.

The HBO Harry Potter series just looks like a worse looking more drawn out version of the movie and honestly that's what Harry Potter fans in 2026 deserve.
