It was Part II we screened. The Michael sections resolutely refuse to hold the viewer's hand, as if an opaque plot represents the complexity of his life, while Vito's sections make him so cartoonishly wholesome as to not make him a member of organised crime.

The Peter Cook one is incredible because you'd expect Cook to have missed at least half a step through years of inactivity and going to the pub, but it's all still there like it was 1966. Anderson isn't so much dismissing the song as not being able to resist the gag. He shares that with Dick Cavett.
