The huge deficits run w/ strong macroeconomic forces is a big problem for the future of the USA economy. We have been borrowing huge amounts for special interests (huge billionaire tax cuts etc. by the Republicans) when should have been paying down the debt we accumulated. Huge failure of leadership

Extreme wealth concentration (even at much lower levels than the USA has now) is a huge economic problem. We need much better economic policies. We can't dramatically encourage tax cheating by the rich as the Republican party is doing. We should also reverse the huge tax cuts to the extremely rich.

Please vote to change the Republican attack on USA citizens. We need to elect people that will not allow the continued destruction of the rule of law that is core to the Republican party. Make sure to vote for change. We need to take action to vote out those promoting such attacks on our county.

I have raised some cash. But I am still 70% in stocks. I often has been 90+% in stocks. Valuations do seems very stretched but it is indeed extremely difficult to correctly time when to sell stocks because they are too high. Getting fully out of the market is very risky to your long term success.

There are things that sound sensible if you have nearly no knowledge of how economics, markets and the specific realities involved work - like rent "control" and not exporting #diesel fuel. Widespread ignorance and voting for fools leads to bad #economic policies that don't address the real issues.

We need to stop tolerating abuse of the constitution + our population by the Republican party. Vote to save our country from what the Republicans have been doing with thousands of illegal, immoral + unconstitutional policies, statements + activities. We need to elect much better people in November.

The 2025 American Community Survey should have come out today. But it has been delayed because of unusual political encroachment at Census. ACS drives business and policy decisions, especially in local communities, and is the primary input to Census’s immigration estimates.

It is true the Republican party and enablers (Fox,Axios, CBS...) are doing everything they can to spread lies and withhold facts from the public. But it is certainly obvious to anyone paying attention the incompetence, corruption and lies at their core. Elect the right people and things will change.

Of course most needed are 1) The Republican party doing a 180 degree change to respect the rule of law, prosecute corruption in this administration, force the administration to follow budgetary and other laws... 2) Empeach and remove most cabinet level officials 3) remove tax giveaways to the rich

I think the huge crack spreads for refiners now indicate the energy market is in more danger than we think. None of them seem to want to buy up any crude at these relatively low prices. That seems likely only if there is no more capacity to refine (with lots of complications, but basically that). >

I bought a bit more $NBIS today @ $220. Drop isn't so sensible imo (I don't like the dilution from the bond offering but leadership knows what they are doing, so I guess they have a veery good reason to do it - big new deal probably incoming). $SKHY also is likely a big buy now hasn't hit my limit.

Rich countries have been extremely irresponsible for decades; spending far beyond their means. It has happened largely because we chose to elect incompetent people that say things we like to hear instead of electing people suited to lead our countries that r capable 1st, 2nd prioritize what we want.

Interesting chart. The thing you have to know is beating the market by 5% over 20 years is great. These people beating the market by 10+% for 20+ years is incredible; hard not to get rich. Doing it for 30+ years is amazing. For 20 years could be say 38x versus 7x (if S&P up 10% per year).

Interesting but seems premature to make much of this. Just variation in the data (and the economy itself - couple of good months versus structural economic evidence) can create seemingly strong evidence when really it isn't much of anything. Keep this up for 6 more months and I will take more notice
