I try to work on art or the zine every day. At times the grief is too hard, too heavy. My guy passed away 11mo ago today. A year ago today, I was with him at home, unaware that in 4 days he would fall and nearly die on the floor, I'd call 911, and he'd go to the hospital and never come home again.

I miss having a buddy, a friendo, an everyday "hey what's up fucker?" friendship. I'm not good at meeting new people and my cats passing has really shown me how big of a hole I have in my life. If you have that kind of friend in your life, send'em a hug and tell 'em I said "What's up fucker?"

This is all different rolls of washi tape and me experimenting with fussy-cutting some of the stuff in the rolls. Before, my bookmarks were just, different tapes in different patterns, stacked horizontally. Then I was like...what if I just...collage it?
