While I’ve enjoyed his social media team trolling the orange menace, I do not want to be forced to vote for this guy in a presidential election. Really hoping that won’t happen.

Where the hell is that damn peanut? I know I put it here somewhere…

New homes in the Boise Foothills are cracking, falling apart. How’d we get here, again?

Boise City Council and ACHD continue to support developers rather than sensible endeavors. I was at a birthday party this past weekend in one of these sinking houses; my god brother lived in the Terra Nativa neighborhood sliding off the hill. Do I think the new Barber bridge is a good idea? Nope.

Development of Boise’s Eyrie Canyon continues despite concerns over soil, irrigation and slumping homes.

Awoke with an uncomfortable sense of foreboding Hopefully, it’s nothing. Maybe just due to a bad dream I can’t remember…maybe I’m just dreading staging that house today 🫤

I’m so pleased with the progress…but, I don’t think I want to go with the polymeric sand. I think just plain old real sand??

Plotting the rehab of the side yard… Adirondacks and a fire pit type thing, reshape the beds and transplant sun loving perennials to the bed by the garage, some to the front yard . Add in some low maintenance boxwood, hosta, heuchera…

Yes, I’m a dork. But, I’m a happy dork 😆

Today is the day I get stepping stones (we’re moving some I already have) for a safe back pathway (it’s currently uneven ground and somewhat treacherous) plus my garden sheds installed. So excited. I need to shop for those solar lights that are flat in ground to light the way in the winter darkness.

We are all certainly on pins and needles, wondering, hoping…will we be successful in poking a hole into the maga stronghold of Idaho? Do Idahoans have any good sense left at all? I dare not set my hopes too high. Idaho always fails to right itself, it seems…

My grass looks terrible. Zamzows program isn’t doing anything for it. I’m in over my head. I’d like to hire a lawn pro to tend to it (not just mow), and shape it up. But, they’re all so expensive; I’d need it not to be full of chemical treatments either. Argh.

I see an awful lot of ads (not something I’d want to use my actor talent for but whatever) for “prediction markets.” What’s with the fancy name? You may not be setting odds but I still think you’re just a bunch of bookies😏 (I’m not much of a gambler, I guess).

Ok, intense neurological pain in my little toes, left foot, emanating from my lumbar area. Spine is letting me know I may have over done things the past couple of days…loading heavy stuff for staging and all day doing yard work 😳🥴

I’ve said it before and it’s worth repeating…I really like this man.

Worked in the yard all day. Sore. Off to a birthday party, now. Then, more yardwork tomorrow and I have to do Zamzows step 4 for the grass. Plus, another birthday party tomorrow. Then, up at the crack of dawn for my back pathway installation!! Woohoo! This introvert is already tired though.

I think the barista at Dutch Bros called me “grandma,” like a term of endearment. It wasn’t at all snarky. Still, I don’t know how I feel about that! 🤨 Usually, she calls me “Queen.” I much prefer that…

My landscaper who is always busy with commercial projects had a cancellation and is going to do my back path and put my two sheds together. I hope it don’t jinx it by posting this. I’m so damn excited I can hardly stand it. We’re using what little stone I have and existing sand where the patio was 🙌

Why do Republicans treat the Constitution, just like the Evangelicals treat the Bible… You know… Like a buffet of hypocrisy, where you get to pick and choose which laws you wish to follow/obey? WHY?! 😎✨

Checking out the ballot for November. A bunch of judges I know nothing about and a state gun 🙄🤨

All loaded up ready to go but the staging is postponed because the painter won’t be finished until Monday night🫤

Well, I manages to get everything in there…I just need help with the rug. There’s room. But, my back is not happy and I can’t do it on my own…at least, not today. Taking some ibuprofen now… #homestaging

One last thought for tonight…I ran into an acquaintance a couple days ago at the Boise Co-op. I don’t know their politics; they are…successful. They had a basket with some treats…a sandwich, beverage…they said they were putting together something for the woman outside (I knew who they meant…she had

Just popped up on my phone. I designed and sewed several fleece sweatshirts with ruffles for my girls. They had little heart cutouts where the harness ring was for leashes and easy on/off Velcro fasteners 🥰 #mylily #irisandlilyakathefartsisters

Sometimes, I tell myself to give up on art and design. The voice whispers that I’ll never be good enough. But, I can’t not create. Good or bad 🫤

This made me laugh…it brought up a memory. There’s an art gallery in Sheboygan Wi…John Michael Kohler Art Center. “Kohler.” It’s quite nice. Part of the charm of the gallery are the bathrooms. They must be toured along with the rest of the art. Artists contributed to their design; they’re fun.
