From both personal experience and that of those still serving, I've written a short overview of the serious vulnerabilities faced by the British Army. It doesn't make for optimistic reading.

Thank you Brian Kilmeade. I was sure hoping we’d go for the “2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine” approach to the conflict. We should make sure to pack our dress uniforms for the victory parades.

A guy I went to school with from first grade and then joined the Marines with jumped onboard the MAGA movement. No matter how many times I talked to him or how many times he was proven wrong about what was actually going on in the world, he never veered from that course. Finally, I had enough.

Definitely fewer by those hit hardest by the policies they voted for, but there's still a few lemmings that'll continue to follow the movement off a cliff.

Exactly. Guy I went to school with and then joined the Marines with is totally captured by the MAGA movement. Will tell you with a straight face that Trump was chosen by God to fight the good fight. He's not the only one in Michigan with those beliefs, going about wearing that stupid Trump hat.

meme with a classic oil painting aesthetic. At the top, black text on a white background reads: "When you want to sleep because of the fatigue but you can't sleep because of the nerve pain."

In the top right corner, there is a logo for "Women With Chronic Illness" featuring a stylized icon of a woman's head. Below the text is a painting of a person with long brown hair lying in bed, partially obscured by heavy, rumpled white blankets. The person has an exhausted, wide-eyed expression

two-panel meme featuring actor Dean Norris.

Left Panel: A brightly lit photo of the actor smiling widely and looking optimistic. The text above him reads: "BEFORE ILLNESS: Doctors are great. If I ever get really sick they will do everything in their power to help me."

Right Panel: A dimly lit, high-contrast photo of the same actor with a stern, cynical, and disappointed facial expression. The text below him reads: "AFTER ILLNESS: Most doctors are bastards. Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling."

Zelensky's decree allowing the Red Square parade is important beyond its entertainment value. It shows Ukraine's military threat was credible enough to Pu that he had to beg Trump to beg Zelensky for a ceasefire. The proof that Ze's power goes beyond coms is in the 1000 POWs who'll go home tomorrow.

You speak to this in a far better manner than I ever could, but even I was able to see the effects in depth of how this was being prosecuted. That not only this administration but many I came across in the beltway are unable or unwilling to see the long view is a problem.
