Our local paper is known as the Oxford Fail, the toxic clickbait factory of Osney Mead (due to be regenerated). The penultimate paragraph is why. The hospitals are well away from traffic filters. Needless to say, the lazy hack didn’t bother checking his facts before fabricating disinformation.

There's a long-held assumption that celebrities only travel by private chauffeur. David Byrne's ride to Met Gala, Timothée Chalamet's Lime biking and now Cate Blanchett's Brompton getaway show this to be increasingly untrue. We shouldn't be so surprised when people use the best tool for the job.

Oxfordshire has its first two “side-road zebra crossings”, installed without Belisha beacons or zig-zags, on St Margaret’s Rd where it meets Banbury Rd in north Oxford, and on Cornwallis Rd where it meets Henley Ave in east Oxford. Such crossings are standard in mainland Europe but rare in the UK.
