Based on their public comments, NYT leaders view the kind of insider details discovered by Haberman and others as essential to understanding Trump. I don't think that's correct. Public documents (Project 2025) and events (Jan 6, DOGE) to me describe this presidency better than insider accounts.

If Hispanics were to snap back to Democrats at Obama era levels then yeah, it would be a total GOP wipeout. I don’t think that lopsidedness would be necessary for Talarico to win, but that would probably be needed for some of the other statewide races.

It's possible we may see the second set of local criminal charges leveled against an ICE officer for actions taken during an enforcement operation. In this case, it's for this incident (video posted by @houstonchronicle.com) of an ICE officer appearing to deliberately run down a fleeing suspect.
