The picture shows the spectacular limestone cliffs of Carvoeiro in the Portuguese Algarve.
Particularly striking are the fishermen, who often stand right on the edge of the steep cliffs at dizzying heights. This tradition is widespread along the entire Algarve coast, as the Atlantic here is rich in fish species such as mackerel, sea bream and sea bass.
