It's been difficult to hold back until #WaterfallWednesday, but here we are! Cottonwood Falls, Mount Thielsen, #Oregon. The spring that feeds the falls only pops out of the ground about 50 yards upstream! 🤩 I'd been planning and dreaming of visiting this spot for YEARS. #Hiking #Nature

This is within The Mount Thielsen Wilderness in Oregon State. The peak is Mount Thielsen, which stands at 9,184 ft (2,799 m)

I paused for a moment this morning thinking about the state of the world & how it can be wildly depressing & feel quite impossible. Then, I looked around & saw the sun illuminating a small meadow, quietly being beautiful. Did it solve anything? No. But it felt a little hopeful🕊️ #photography #words
