This is a five image panoramic photo of Vancouver's West End, taken from Locarno Beach, which is west of the downtown. Im Vordergrund liegt ein umgestürzter Baumstamm auf dem Waldboden, der mit Moos und herabgefallenen Blättern bedeckt ist. Dahinter stehen mehrere aufrechte Bäume mit glatter und rissiger Rinde. Lago Maggiore 🫶 Schade, dass man das satte Grün der Berge nicht sieht.

Ein See breitet sich im Vordergrund aus, an dessen Ufer mehrere Boote und ein kleiner Steg liegen. Dahinter erheben sich markante, bewaldete Berge. Über der Landschaft liegt ein weiter Himmel mit hellen, teils geschlossenen Wolken. Am oberen linken Bildrand ist ein kleines Flugzeug zu sehen.

Sogar meine Lieblingspalme hatte Mühe mit dem trockenen Sommer.

Eine große, dicht gewachsene Palme steht im Mittelpunkt des Bildes. Ihre langen, geschwungenen Wedel breiten sich weit aus. Einige der Wedel sind leider braun. Im Hintergrund sind Häuser, Geschäfte und weitere Pflanzen zu sehen. Dahinter zeichnen sich Berge unter einem hellen Himmel ab.
