i voted for all of them, but the response from biden, harris, obama, and the clintons to both terms of trump has been a dumpster fire. theyve sat back, laughed and joked, written books and had a good old time while regular people faced the fire.

Trump’s insider trading is, on its own, the worst corruption scandal in US history, with $$$ dwarfing Teapot Dome. So are Trump’s bribes-for-pardons. So is the Qatar bribe plane. So is all the Saudi money he (and Kushner) have pocketed. And the ballroom. And more. Each alone would be the worst.

What a lie. Some of these people are being imprisoned indefinitely in squalid condition in African prisons. Others report being beaten and arbitrarily deported in violation of international law back to their home countries, where they face persecution or torture.
The indefinite nature of their confinement has taken a severe toll. In October 2025, a Cuban man who was on the July flight went on a hunger strike for a month-until he started showing signs of organ failure —to protest the conditions of his detention, including his ongoing confinement and lack of access to legal counsel.
Terrified of being imprisoned in Eswatini forever, another man repeatedly told his attorney that the prison there never lets people go. One man told his attorney that he feels like a caged animal with no end in sight. The prison does not have air conditioning, making the hot, humid summer months especially uncomfortable for the men.
Food is insufficient, medication is scarce, and requests often go unmet or are belatedly met.

Trump, 2016: "When we win ... we will be able to immediately repeal and replace Obamacare. ... And we will do it very, very quickly." Trump, 10 years later: "We will pass a truly great health care plan." Still no health care plan.

This kind of talk has always seemed to impress certain segments of the political class, but now that he’s imploding, they look like gullible suckers. He’s just a lout, nothing more. He insults people because he isn’t smart enough for anything else. He’ll become more loutish as he circles the drain.

There were dozens of news stories all saying “Trump announces $15 billion steel plant“ but this is about the only news outlet that bothered to check to see if it was anything more than just an announcement. Surprise! It isn’t.

Today I was listening to NPR talking about interest rates. They briefly mentioned Trump tried to use possible mismanagement of funds for a treasury building to strong-arm the FED into lowering rates. In the before-times, this would be a scandal but now it's something we accept and forget about.

One thing that never gets mentioned is that Republicans have absolutely no plan to do this. Scrapping out Obama care is the only goal. When it does rarely get asked, the only reply is that they’re working day and night something something.

In a normal administration counterintelligence agents at the FBI would be investigating this photo. In this administration, the FBI director is in the photo.
Michael Weiss: Why, that’s Ali Abdelaziz is on the far left. Manages a lot of Russian, Belarusian and Chechen MMA fighters including Khamzat Chimaev, who is close to Kadyrov. Abdelaziz was an FBI informant until the Bureau dropped him because they suspected he was a double agent. Looks like Ka$h (far right) has forgiven and forgotten. These MAGA weddings are Mos Eisley cantinas for counterintelligence.

In many red states, it's simply a question of whether you can get Trump's endorsement. So we wind up with idiots like Eric Schmitt, Tuberville and Darline Graham, if she wins I mean, Georgia Republicans nominated Herschel Walker because Trump told them to, for G-d's sake. And he almost beat Ossoff

When they get back in power, Democrats need to go all-in on higher education. We need a campaign of reinvestment in public universities across the country that makes the Morrill Land-Grant Act look like nothing by comparison *and* a GI Bill of Rights-style program of tuition grants.
