The refusal to even put her in a male ward should really illustrate to cis people that even if sex was binary and immutable (which it is not), what GCs and other transphobes want is not about strictly adhering to one's assign sex at birth. It's about wanting trans people to die in isolation.

Trans girls can't medal in front of cis girls in CA, every Democrat running in OH says they'll keep all anti-trans laws in place, nearly every blue state has seen trans people barred from hospitals and schools, and the Supreme Court voted 9-0 that trans people don't have civil rights under Title IX.

UK is trying to reduce immigration and asylum numbers as well as trans people, plus it won't accept asylum from any country deemed safe officially under any circumstance, the best bet is to go somewhere else, Ireland has a common travel agreement with the UK, meaning right to live and work

No one seems to care, but these were the UK's submissions about hospital use in I v UK in *2002*. I get that the UKSC is big on reading ECtHR jurisprudence as narrowly as possible, but it really does strain credulity to think there is no Art 8 violation .

The NHS's revised guidance on single-sex wards is cruel, unworkable and LGBTIQA+ Greens calls on Labour to withdraw it and reform the Equality Act.

The NHS revised guidance does not offer privacy, dignity or safety to trans people.
Placing trans people on the incorrect “same-sex” hospital wards by default is wrong and unworkable, which is why it also states exceptions for clinical need and a mention of alternative provision.
This is a continuation of the incomprehensible interpretation of the Equality Act 2010 that the supreme court ruled for. We call on the Labour government to withdraw this guidance and reform the Equality Act to end the policing of trans people in single gendered spaces.
