The last spot was tough, I ultimately decided on Sucre for nostalgia. I spent about three weeks there taking Spanish lessons and just existing in the city. Beautiful architecture, great cafes, a super charming central plaza, and private hostel room with a balcony. Oh and absolutely perfect weather

Ho Chi Minh City, which all the locals I talked to still called Saigon, is another everything city. It's hectic beyond belief, and often miserably hot, but it was one of the most fun places to just exist. Sit on a plastic chair drinking a beer also called Saigon, eat something amazing, enjoy chaos

Not much I can say about Paris that hasn't been said. Like Mexico City it has a little bit of everything. Museums, architecture, history, food. I spent an entire afternoon drinking wine at a cafe in the Latin Quarter people watching 10 years ago and still reminisce about it.

Granada was a turning point in my life. It was in a hammock in a hostel there that I decided to skip my flight home and turned a 10 day vacation into joining a bunch of fellow backpackers on a two month trip that ended in Panama City. A pretty, friendly, low key lake city that deserves more love
